2013 NFL PREDICTIONS!!! (TYLER)
THE DENVER PEYTON MANNINGS!

For Day 13 of my 2013 NFL Predictions we will break down the DENVER BRONCOS.

Last year began for the Broncos began in uncertainty... Peyton Manning had joined the team after several neck surgeries and nobody really knew how he would fare on game day. Let's just say he is fine, good enough to lead his team to the playoffs where they lost to the soon to be champion Ravens. The Broncos return several key players like QB Peyton Manning, RB Willis McGahee, LB Von Miller, and CB Champ Bailey. The Broncos lost DL Elvis Dumervil in probably the weirdest way when he was actually all set to join the team after a contract had finally been worked out, but his paperwork was faxed in after the deadline thus making his contract void. Let's now take a look at how the Broncos drafted this year.

ROUND 1: Sylvester Williams DT (North Carolina)
ROUND 2: Montee Ball RB (Wisconsin)
ROUND 3: Kayvon Webster CB (South Florida)
ROUND 5: Quanterus Smith DE (Western Kentucky)
ROUND 5: Tavarres King WR (Georgia)
ROUND 6: Vinston Painter OT (Virginia Tech)
ROUND 7: Zac Dysert QB (Miami OH)

Sylvester Williams will push to get solid playing time in place of the departed Dumervil, RB Montee Ball is probably the leader of this draft class to get heavy playing time this year and possibly even starting. Everything i've seen says that he will be the #1 RB on roster considering Knowshon Moreno's heath and Willis McGahee's age. Even though the Broncos have QB Brock Osweiler on roster i still like the pickup of Zac Dysert in the 7th round, he will push Osweiler every year to be better til the time comes that he needs to start in place of Manning.

Now that that's taken care of, lets look at how i predict the Broncos season playing out.

Analysis: I couldn't believe my eyes when i saw how easy the Broncos schedule is set up. Granted they have two tough road games late in the season against New England and Houston, but seriously? Division rivals Oakland and San Diego shouldn't pose many problems. I have them splitting series with Kansas City based on what i will tell you tomorrow about Kansas City. This team is good enough to be a legitimate contender for the Super Bowl and they very well may make it there. The AFC has some solid teams at the top and Denver is one of them.

Do you agree or disagree with my prediction/analysis? Let me hear why in the comments section.

  1. As a Raiders fan, I really want to disagree with you. I wish that the Denver Dopey could find a way to lose every game. However that is not likely. We Welker is going to become Peyton Manning's best friend and Montee Ball is an animal. Peyton proved last year that he is still a great QB. Elway has managed to build a great team (unfortunately). I think they are going to easily run away with the division and probably have a number 1 seed in the playoffs. The only real challenger to them may be New England. This is my pick to win the Super Bowl this year honestly. Man I wish it was anyone else...(:

  2. I hope your wrong on this one and all the nfc east teams beat the crap out of them this team is all Peyton so as long as he stays upright all year they will be good I see only eleven wins though but still good enough to win that pitiful division

  3. I'm really excited for this season – it seems like the first part of last year was all about everybody getting comfortable working with one another, and I think Peyton did an excellent job taking charge of his team. This year, momentum is strong and the stars seem to be aligning for a stellar season. I can't wait!

I like your predictions, and am also amazed at their rather easy schedule. The New England game is the only one making me truly nervous. Since that's my husband's team, and he hates the Manning brothers with the passion, I am personally invested in the outcome...we'd better win, lol.

As a side note, I am also interested to see how Welker adds to the offense… there will be no shortage of solid players for Manning to pass to.
